In fact, I don't think anyone does unless they are an F1 driver. Unfortunately, I do not believe I have the experience nor knowledge to make a useful observation. Now, the big question that remains is whether or not Codemasters have produced a state of the art F1 simulation. Now let me emphasize that the stiffness or tightness feel of the controls is only clear if you have played previous versions of the game. No where in the gameplay did I see that to be overwhelmingly evident. Now this does not by any means imply that the controls have been simplified for easier gameplay. This is most evident when all assists are off. The most important factor of the two is that the controls do seem 'stiff'.

It’s an incredibly detailed and exhaustive representation of the sport-indeed, one of the finest uses of a license this side of NBA 2K14. If you can cope with the slightly sterile nature of the environments and the likelihood that you will spend a lot of time falling off the bike and hitting restart, you’ll find a lot here to like. And even though it’s on PS4, the overall look and atmosphere of the game is less immersive than the likes of GRID Autosport, which is running on last-gen hardware. The crowds are mostly flat and don’t animate and the textures are far too clean and computer-simmy to fool the eye into thinking it’s looking at real life. The graphics may well be sensational in ultra-slow motion replays, and beautifully pin-sharp while you’re playing, but there is an undeniable air of sterility to the race day action. All of the above is extremely positive, but there is one metaphorical fly on this game’s visor.
